// ABOUT

Eight apps in,
we made it a company.

Zion exists because we watched good businesses pay too much for software that did too little — and because AI changed what a small team can build. We'd already shipped eight apps proving it.

// WHY WE EXIST

Good businesses deserve better software.

We've spent years inside the machine — running systems for one of the UK's biggest retailers, designing for a studio, building tools for a community we ran ourselves. Everywhere, the same pattern: money leaking through overlapping subscriptions, hours lost to manual workarounds, and software nobody dared to touch.

Then AI changed the economics. Work that took a team a quarter now takes a small team weeks. We tested that claim on ourselves — eight shipped apps, each one faster and better than the last — before asking anyone to trust us with theirs.

Zion is that speed, pointed at your business: software you own instead of rent, automation that gives your week back, and a partner who's done the unglamorous systems work long before it was fashionable.

// THE ROAD HERE

Five chapters, one direction

CHAPTER 01 — TESCO
Comms & Web Design
Inside one of the UK's biggest retailers, learning how large organisations really communicate — and where the messages, and the money, get lost.
CHAPTER 02 — TESCO
Systems Manager
Running the systems side of retail operations: legacy software, manual workarounds and the real, daily cost of tools that don't talk to each other.
CHAPTER 03 — CARDIFF
Design Studio
Design discipline: learning that software people enjoy using isn't a luxury — it's the difference between a tool that gets adopted and one that gets worked around.
CHAPTER 04 — MMA COMMUNITY
Building & running a community
Marketing, tools, admin and grit — running a real community taught us what small operations actually need from technology, first-hand.
CHAPTER 05 — NOW
Zion Technology
Founded the day we shipped our eighth app with AI and realised the speed wasn't ours to keep. Every build still sharpens the next — the ninth could be yours.
// WHAT WE STAND ON
Chapter six is your build.
